Well, the CCP's virus Finally has hit our family, my granddaughter's boyfriend was exposed at work and now they are both quarantined.  So far they haven't developed any symptoms but they've only know for 3 days I think.  They are otherwise healthy and in their early 20's so we're optimistic.

My physical therapist's whole family has had the virus.  She may have had it as her test showed she had the antibodies which I think means she's probably safe.  I've been seeing her twice a week for four weeks and nothing.

Our pollen count has been very high and I have a constant nasal drip and my urologist won't let me take the one drug that helps.

Leslye doing pretty good.  Not getting enough oxygen and tires with any exertion.  I need to do better in seeing she does her nebulizer treatments and ensure she takes her meds.  While I'm at it, I need to see that I take mine.

Stay well and keep your family safe!

Subaru Forester Sport.....

On a more positive note than my last post, I am really enjoying my new vehicle, a Subaru Sport.  I got a white one and it has some orange trim, very close to Texas Longhorn orange I think.

The lane-keeping property is great too but you still must mind your business.  The system seems to be biased toward the lane to the left and on two-lane highways, it makes me a bit nervous facing oncoming traffic.  The only other complaint I have with the vehicle is the turn signal clicking isn't loud enough for me and I don't always remember to turn off the signal if it doesn't do it on its own.

All in all, I am very pleased with the car.  Leslye has wanted a Subaru for many years and as this may be the very last vehicle we own, it was time.  No buyer's remorse here!

PS:  My brother, Dick and his wife Sandy have bought a Subaru too.  They got the Outback and it is really pretty.  It is a step up from the Forester and has all the bells and whistles.  They have made a trip to our home town, Lovington, New Mexico and they are as pleased with it as I am mine.

Maybe not so silent.....

It may be getting to the point that the Silent Majority may have to come out and deal with the insanity that has gripped a relatively small minority.  If it comes to that, they will not like it, in fact, they just might not survive it.

I have noticed too that some of the left-wing politicians have actually begun to realize that it is the bad guys, not the guns that are shooting people.  That is progress of a sort.

Another observation, which I hope I have misinterpreted, is that the GOP is in the process of shooting it's self in the head again.  They just can't stand to win and are dividing themselves in order to lose to the left.  If they do lose, it will be worse for our country than the Civil War.  It will be the end of the republic.

Except for my kids and their families, I'm leaving behind, I'll be glad to be dead and gone when that happens.

China Virus

Hoping all are healthy and not bored to death.  So far none of our family near or far have contracted this thing, knock on wood and say a prayer of thanks.  We are a bit bored but I've plan ned some activity today....do the kitchen floor and the range.  Really breaks up the monotony at least.

Our county, Williamson County, Texas, has been hit pretty hard but our town, Georgetown, not to bad.  The county which is heavily populated, has had about 368 cases and I hate to say it like this, but only 12 deaths.  With a population of upward of 250,000, that is a pretty good percentage, for all but the families of the 13, RIP.

We butt up to Travis County, the home of the State Capital and here in Georgetown, we are only 26 miles from the Capital its self.

Here is the graphic from earlier today for Williamson County.  Stay Well!
